What kind of expressions we use in our communication and reporting? Do we really think about the consequences of their offensive content?
Lack of knowledge, incorrect communication, prejudice and misunderstanding of society contribute to the isolation and social exclusion of people with disabilities. Through this project we want to raise awareness on the need of use adequate terminology in the field of disability in the public space and media as well as in everyday communication. What makes this project so special and important is will and contribution of people with disabilities themselves in realization workshops, online and street campaign. There is no better way to inform and educate about language discrimination than with their help and experience.
