For years we have been witnessing the rapid urbanization in our neighborhood Mladost in Sofia, the capital city. This leaded to loss of green areas and growing apathy of the inhabitants. That’s why we thought that by developing a green space in the neighborhood we could engage people from the community in ecological issues and create a better social bond between them.
What is new and unique for Mladost district is the bottom-up approach.
Beside planting trees we will also plant the seed of voluntarism and social activism to the youngsters from the local schools.
